Description

Step back in time, yet stay luxuriously present.

The Old Buggy Inn is more than a home — it’s a living story, rich with Victorian elegance, historical character, and hospitality. Built in 1880 by W.T. Jones, this stately Queen Anne residence now welcomes guests as a fully operational boutique inn, blending original charm with modern comforts.

With four distinct suites — each named after a Victorian-era carriage — the inn can host multiple parties while preserving privacy and intimacy. Guests linger in cozy common rooms, sip coffee on the wrap-around porch, or unwind in the beautifully landscaped garden. Each morning, they savor a gourmet breakfast, thoughtfully tailored from seasonal, local ingredients.

The location is equally compelling. Just minutes from premier golf courses (including Pinehurst), yet set within a peaceful, small-town enclave, the inn offers effortless access to North Carolina’s natural treasures: Uwharrie National Forest, Weymouth Woods, and more.

This property offers dual appeal — for someone seeking a personal residence with character, or a turnkey hospitality venture in the heart of Moore County’s tourism and leisure corridor.
